About: I am a licensed independent social worker with a background of over 15 years in the medical field. My experience includes working with adults dealing with grief and loss, new medical conditions, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and caregiver stress. My hope is to apply a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Strengths Based Therapy in a trauma informed environment. My goal is to be fully present in a supportive manner with clients as they live with and work through trauma, social issues, and family stressors.
