Jessica Witkin, PMHNP
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Hello! My name is Jessica, and I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My first goal as your new provider will be to cultivate a safe space to explore your current mental health concerns and symptoms. This will lay the foundation for us to develop an individualized treatment plan that addresses these concerns as we work to strengthen your mental and emotional health.
Medications are an important part of your mental health journey, but it is just one piece of the puzzle; we will work together to understand your mental, emotional, spiritual, interpersonal, and physical stressors and how these influence your mood and mental health conditions. This approach allows for us, along with your therapist, to help you achieve your healthiest self.
Mental health treatment can be challenging work and is never an easy journey to embark on alone. Through my holistic, approachable, and sustainable treatment plan, we will work diligently to meet both your short and long-term mental health goals. I am eager to partner with you to provide a productive and meaningful mental health solution.

Areas of expertise
Please note, Jessica does NOT prescribe the following:
I have had a wide variety of clinical experiences through my time as a behavioral health nurse and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
As a nurse and student PMHNP, I worked in both inpatient and outpatient mental health services at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. In this setting, I learned the intricacies, challenges, and evidence-based treatments for mental health conditions ranging from depression and suicidal ideation to active psychosis and bipolar disorders.
I then trained at The Emily Program, where I treated eating disorders and their common mental health comorbidities.
Most recently, I worked as a PMHNP in long term care facilities treating all mental health diagnoses of older adults who have struggled with lifetime mental health conditions. I have been fortunate to learn from psychiatrists and other nurse practitioners who are leaders and innovators in their field.
