COVID-19 Response: In-person protocols
There is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present, particularly where there may be close contact with others. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. Although CBH has implemented preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to or infected with COVID-19. Therefore, the majority of sessions will be provided via telehealth only.

If you choose to have an in person appointment, including one with the psychiatrist, you assume all risks associated with exposure to and/or infection from COVID-19 and will also need to adhere to the following in-person protocols:
  • Complete an in person consent and waiver form prior to the date of your appointment.
  • Be vaccinated (at least one COVID-19 shot).
  • Be symptom free. If you have symptoms of the coronavirus, you agree to cancel the in person appointment and move to telehealth.
  • Take your temperature before coming into the office. If it is elevated (100 Fahrenheit or more), you agree to cancel the appointment and move to telehealth.
  • Enter the lobby no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment. You can wait in your car or outside.
  • Wear a mask covering your nose and mouth the entire time you are in the building. Cloth masks not permitted.
  • Keep a distance of at least 6 feet and have no physical contact (e.g. no shaking hands) with anyone in the office.
  • Not bring children with you (unless they are the patient).
  • Not bring extra people with you to your session; only those individuals who are part of the session will attend.
  • Let your provider know if a resident of your home tests positive for the infection, cancel the in person appointment and move to telehealth.

All offices and commonly touched surfaces are thoroughly cleaned daily.
All paperwork is electronic and is to be completed online. Paper copies will not be available in the office.

We may change the above precautions if additional local, state or federal orders or guidelines are published.
