I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor endorsement in the state of Ohio and a proud Coast Guard veteran with 13 years of active and reserve military experience. I consider myself an adaptable counselor by providing the best and most appropriate treatment for my clients’ needs. It is of the utmost importance to me that I create an environment in which an individual will feel absolutely respected, unjudged, and authentic. My office is a place where clients can have room for self-exploration and growth.
My education includes a M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ohio University, a B.A. in Psychology from The Ohio State University and an A.S. in General Science from Vincenness University. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and high needs clients. I have worked in Athens with Hopewell Health Centers and Columbus with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, conducting individual, family, and brief therapy in community and outpatient settings. I am particularly skilled at reaching difficult clients through creative techniques and making genuine connections.
My approaches to counseling and therapy are tailored to your needs and include Person Centered, CBT, DBT, and EMDR for trauma and deeply held negative beliefs.
