Blueprint FAQ

Blueprint FAQs

Columbus Behavioral Health is partnering with a company called Blueprint to provide our patients with a brand new tool designed to enhance treatment and improve the quality of care we provide.

WHAT IS BLUEPRINT HEALTH?
Blueprint Health is a digital service which delivers assessments, short sets of questions, via the app or text message. Your responses will help your provider better understand what you are experiencing between visits.

HOW DOES THIS HELP ME?
Blueprint’s online assessments will allow us to track your symptoms over time, giving us a better overall understanding of your emotional health and wellness, and if we need to make adjustments in your care.

WHY NOW?
We know that with COVID-19, most everyone’s lives have become more stressful. As we are unsure of when it will be safe to resume in-person meetings, we want to make sure we are giving you the highest quality care we can during this challenging time. Blueprint’s services can bridge some of the gaps, providing valuable information we can use in our virtual sessions. Patients who tested it during our pilot phase have been very pleased with it and have found it helps to jumpstart their therapy sessions.

HOW PRIVATE IS MY DATA?
Blueprint is fully HIPAA-compliant and secure. Only your provider has access to your information. You own the data and can request at any time for your data and account to be deleted.

WHAT DOES THIS COST ME?
There is no fee for enrollment nor to download the app. Measuring your progress through Blueprint may be considered a billable service and as a result may result in additional co-payments or amounts applied to deductibles. Because every plan is somewhat different, some of these costs may be deemed the responsibility of the patient If you have any questions about what your specific plan covers, please feel free to contact our billing manager by phone at 614-360-2600 option 4 or email: billing@columbusbh.com

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO ACCESS IT?
When you receive the invitation, simply click on the link in the text or email (not both) at a time that is convenient for you. This will open the first assessment. Just answer the questions. That’s it! Blueprint will score your responses and your provider will review them and discuss them with you during the next session.
You have the option to download the Blueprint app. It is up to you if you want to do so. You can also continue to receive links via text instead. If you choose to download the app, you will have access to a few additional features but it is completely up to you.

CAN I OPT OUT?
Absolutely. You may opt out at any time.
