About Asia
I am an independently licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) and a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) in the state of Ohio. I received my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling May of 2012 from Bowling Green State University. I treat older teens, college age and adults of all ages.

I believe in respecting my clients for who they are and meeting them where they are WHILE guiding them through the change process to make the emotional, cognitive and/or behavioral changes that they came to therapy for. I  believe that my clients are the experts of themselves. While I am the trained and skilled professional of mental health treatment, I trust that we need to bring our expertise together to collaborate on how we are going to help you to move closer to your own goals and values.

I provide a non-judgmental and safe environment. I also teach a lot of skills and provide a lot of education.

I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you TRANSFORM and THRIVE!
Clinical experience
I have been in private practice since 2017. Prior to coming to private practice I specialized for over 5 years in the program development, individual therapy and group treatment of Eating Disorders at the higher levels of care.

I also did an undergraduate internship working with adult females at a residential drug and alcohol treatment facility. I was a Victims’ Advocate for a year helping survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, sexual harassment, and/or stalking. I then did my yearlong graduate school internship working with children, adolescents, and their families – doing individual, family, and group therapy at the agencies and through the local schools.
