What is an Adjustment Disorder? -If you develop symptoms of depression or anxiety within 3 months of a stressor. -You have some impairment in your functioning.
What can I do?
Recognize that it's not your fault and it's not a sign of weakness. Change is hard.
Take care of your body and make sure you are getting enough sleep and healthy foods.
Talk to people you trust about what you are experiencing.
Counseling can help.
Be patient with your process. It might take time to regain your footing but since you have not always felt this way, it is logical to assume that you will not always feel this way.
