Columbus Behavioral Health is an Association of Independent Providers. The therapists affiliated with Columbus Behavioral Health, Inc. are independent contractors who each operate their own legally separate businesses, but who have agreed to cooperate jointly for operational and other purposes, including to engage in quality assessment and improvement activities.
Dr. Bretz founded the practice in 2014 in the hopes of building a healthy workplace where therapists would feel supported and encouraged to provide their best patient care. This unique model has attracted quality therapists with a wide variety of specializations and grown from a solo practice to many providers in three locations.
Columbus Behavioral Health provides therapy, medication management and nutrition services and has locations in New Albany and Westerville. However, due to the COVID-19 emergency, is currently providing all services via telehealth out of concern for the health and safety of our team and patients.
In the fall of 2020, Columbus Behavioral Health received approval from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Board to offer Continuing Education credits for a recorded webinar for professionals. We will continue sharing our expertise in 2021/22 with the launch our resource store. It will not only have trainings for professionals, but also videos, articles and worksheets as part of self-help modules for individuals and families.
It is our goal to meet patients where they are, to provide services that will benefit the entire person, and to share information so everyone has the help they need.
Welcome! We’re glad you’re here and we look forward to helping you feel better!
