The providers affiliated with Columbus Behavioral Health, LLC. are independent contractors who each operate their own legally separate businesses, but who have agreed to cooperate jointly to ensure quality patient care. All providers are associated with OhioHealth Clinically Integrated Network, which means that we strive to collaborate in new ways to ensure quality, improve health outcomes, and reduce costs for patients while also taking care of the providers who make it all possible.
WHAT WE DO:
Each of our providers was trained as a generalist who has chosen a distinct specialization, meaning that we have sought out additional training in specific presenting problems or conditions. One of these areas of specialization is trauma, as some providers have chosen to specialize in EMDR, Cognitive Processing or Prolonged Exposure trauma treatment. Other areas of specialization are eating disorders, substance abuse, chronic pain, women's health, infertility, religious trauma, LGBTQI+ issues, and grief. If you're interested in finding a specific area of expertise, please check out our provider directory or call us at 614-360-2600 for more information.
Dr. Karen Bretz founded CBH in 2014 in the hopes of building a healthy workplace where providers would be supported and fairly compensated for providing exemplary patient care. Many providers bounce around different workplaces not because we don't love what we do. We want to help our patients live their best lives, and we can't do that if we are not living ours.
SO WHAT MAKES CBH DIFFERENT?
We believe that providers who are overworked and underpaid do not provide the best quality patient care.
We believe in measurement to determine if our treatments are working and if both providers and patients feel satisfied with their experience.
We believe in democratic practice management. in the hopes that giving providers a vote and a voice in how the practice is run, will enable them to provide optimal patient care.
We’re glad you’re here and we look forward to helping you feel like yourself again!
